Description

There are several known variants of this work with differences in the wording of some of the lines. On leaf ã2 recto, line 1 reads either "A Messire" or "A Monsievr". Leaf C3 verso, lines 7-8 contain the reading "qui auoit traité auec Monsieur du Rossey, auant de départ de Monsieur Desnambuc"or "qui auoit traicté auec Monsieur Desnambuc auant son départ." Leaf L1 recto lines 7-8 have the words "tout leur saoul; au sortir de là ..." or "tout leur saoul, & á la santé de leur plus cheres amis; au sortis de là..."

Errata statement on leaf 3P4 verso

Gathering A² contains "Advis au lecteur" with the Lord's Prayer, Apostles' Creed, and Ten Commandments etc., in Carib and French. In some copies this section is bound in at the end of the volume
